    Just bought a Pelican 10e and have been up all night reading this forum to get some ideals I have never owned a boat and was wondering if I would need to register it . I noticed that the boats I see in the pictures have a tag and numbers on the side. I asked the guy at Academy that sold me the boat , he seemed to think that since I was only using a trolling motor it was not nessary. Don't wanna go to the lake and get a ticket. I live in Dallas,Tx. I usually do not respond to forums and apologize if I am getting off subject.. Great site lots of good info here....
