Funny you mention that about the yo zuri line I was online and I came back to here and that's all people recommended and that was three years ago LOL

Anyone have any preferences for what type of line you use while throwing cranks and jigs.

Think I may go down with my kayak and fish around a little until tournament time my confident bait is defiantly a under spinner and a brush hog... Gonna at least try to fish a few tournaments win or lose its gonna be a great experience

You think throwing some jigs and square bills would be good ? I usually crappie fish down there, but that's gonna be my plan so we will see

Thank you so much would a spinning rod for shakey heads and drop shots than two bait casters one for just soft plastics and jigs and than another for spinner baits and cranks ... Both rods I have are perfect for both I know how to fish at someone else pace so that won't be a concern

Going to be fishing with the Bassmaster of Crawford county and it's on May 22nd Never fished a tournament and trying to get some experience in it since I do fish all the time hopefully will be a good learning expierence

You're totally right tomustang if you see this that was a joke no harm intended because I did word this wrong, I'm pretty avid in bass fishing just haven't fished a tourney and needed tips ... But I know it has a muddy bottom and probably will throw some jigs around brush and such, also maybe some cranks in shallow

Yes also would love for the bass to magically appear in the live well as well as some lead in them so they way 20 pounds im trying to gain knowledge obviously why i asked .... just need some ideas of key baits i should have for a lake with alot of little islands and a max depth of 35 feet

I have a few jigs, all the craws I could ever need a ton of brush hogs a ton of jerk baits and just other needed plastics but the cranks are the only issue. This lake that I would be fishing has a ton of islands and it's pretty big and it would be in May so hard to say when there is still snow on the ground here Lol thanks:)

As a teen I don't have money, and i have all the plastics I could ever need for one tourney but I need some crank baits and another rod... If I get the other bait caster should I still do a tourney and just try to get say 8 cranks? I'm kinda at a loss :(

I have a year until college and I'm pretty set on wanting to fish on a college team, I fish all the time and don't compete and have been trying to get into coangler tournaments can anyone give me info on college bass fishing teams and is it that any one can join?

Guess you can consider this more of a how to fish for panfish in cold water because of the fact our ice is already gonna melt and we should be able to fish open water by next week. But I wanna know some tips on what to use and where to get em!

Thank you! No our ice will actually be melted with in a week already! Here in Erie we've have had some unseasonably warm weather! Was out ice fishing yesterday with a lot of others because this is first and last ice already!

We've been having crazy weather up in Erie and we had some thick ice and now it's melting and were in the 50's obviously water temps are gonna be down still but anyone have tips for fishing after the ice melts. _Tight lines_

Before everyone gets upset and starts going off on my post again IVE GAINED PERMISSION TO FISH THE COURSE.... But I was wondering if most courses have fish in em or how does that work also any tips ?
