Hey guys i want to get into swimbait building. I bought some basswood and balsa already. I have tied jigs in the past but thats the only lure I've ever made. If anybody could lead me in the right direction and give me some tips that would be awesome. Also what lure to make first. I have designed a glide bait and drew it out but i also can see that maybe a rat bait could be an easier first build. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys!!!

Yeah i can see how that could ruin you day... I have been looking on craigslist and found some jon boats are there any other places that you know where i could buy one?

Thanks and yes i would be fishing smaller lakes mostly so a jon boat is my best bet?

Hello i am new to the whole boat thing and i want to know what would be best for me. I want to be able to bring 1, maybe 2 people with me max. i Would like it light enough to put in the bed of a truck and being able to put a trolling motor on it would be good too. I am not set on a jon boat it can be a canoe or anything that you guys will think that will fit my needs. I am also not looking to spend 2000 bucks either. Thanks and tight lines!! Joey B <ºj))))><

In a pond near me there is a small concrete dam. What should i fish near it? i got a few with cranks and the storm twitch stick but what else would you guys fish by it?
