  1. Thanks for the info, is there any other way to identify a shell bar? And would that be the best summer time area to fish given that I find an active one
  2. I have fished with a lot of cranks, lipless, senkos, trick worms, and jigs mostly. Also I have looked for shell bars with no luck and really i don't know the first way to find them other than picking upshells constantly by accident
  3. I'm having trouble catching fish right now I might get 1 or 2 bites all day I've spent a lot of time fishing docks with hardly any luck and have sought out some deeper water with no luck any insight to this area would be great! Mostly around doctors lake and I'm willing to go just a few miles south and to add on I do have a boat with a 60 HP but am usually limited to around 4 hours on the water
  4. The person who put it on use 5500 but I finally got it and the new one is installed!!

  20. Hey everyone i hope yall are all having a great start to 2016. i just took a big leap and bought my first boat its a 1985 Bass Hawk it is in decent condition has some patches i inspected them and they were done really well with a concrete base. it has a galvanized trailer in good condition also. for just the boat and trailer i payed $1000 it seemed like a steal! although the paint job is completly terrible! i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on a cheap way to get the paint looking halfway decent again!
  21. i haven't seen any this far i wasent even aware that there are some in there i guess it would make since being that little creek is almost connected to whitehurst not too sure on that if you are looking to catch stripper you can paddle out under the hrbt or if your military fish in between of the small boy docks on little creek base
  22. i have gone in whitehurst a handful of times, i think the biggest issue is that bass are not the predatory fish in there so they are a little nervous but to even everything out it is completely unpressured. with all that being said id say your best bet is to stay near the airport and focus on the dam and the lily pads
  23. I hope everyone is having a great start to 2016 i myself was given the blessing to get my first boat. The down side im looking for a $3000 rig and cant go any higher. i was wondering if anyone had some suggestions or knows somebody or a place i should look. currently i have looked on Craigslist and "Budget Boats" a local business. im not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to motors so im a little sketched out with craigslist any help would be great!
