  9. i live in nassau county as well, i really havent found a hot spot that i like to fish. Suffolk county has better bass fishing than nassau. I usually fish southards pond in babylon ive seen people catch there. the only thing i caught were a couple of trout and had some missed fish on topwater lures. The Northwest end is supposed to be the best but i only fished the south. As for Nassau county i heard massapequa reservoir is supposed to be good, ive seen bass there but i sadly didnt have my rods with me. Mill pond in merrick next to causeway bait shop i caught like a 8lb carp in the waterfall with a dog biscuit. Twin lakes i only caught a small perch, a trout and bluegills. There should be bass in there but i havent caught any yet.
  10. ok thanks any ideas on what to throw, i believe the main forage is perch, smelt, and crawfish. I was thinking texas rigs, wacky rigs, perch colored crankbaits and jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, and jigs
  11. I live in ny and i am going to nh late april i believe the 24th, would big lakes like squam lake and lake Winnipesaukee should be open and not have ice on them?
