Tatula sizes
I've had both reels for a while. I figure the line level and handle bushings are probably worn quite a bit. I don't intend on going full ceramic on any of them. I figure a abec 5 or 7 should make a sufficient difference. I was hoping to get the sizes before winter hit so I had a project while I'm stuck inside.

Tatula sizes
Is there a size difference between a 100 and a 200 series Tatula? I'm thinking about changing all of the bearings in the 2 200's I have, but no one lists them as far as I can find. I know I can take the reels apart and measure but I'm lazy. Please help.

Fantasy Fishing 2019 - Official Thread
I really screwed up. I was sitting somewhere around the 98th percentile and missed making a team for the last tournament. Now I'm down to 65%ish. There's always next season. My username is RivetSmasher.

Help with Lake Murray
I'm in SC for about 2 weeks, visiting from CT. I'm trying to get onto some bass in Lake Murray. I've got an 11' kayak that I launch from the dam end of the lake. Any suggestions on baits would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to hook into a striper but since I'm newish to kayak fishing it worries me a bit so I'm leaning more toward LMBs and SMBs. TIA

I need help with reel ID/parts
I picked up a Cabelas Arachnid 100H for pretty cheap today. The reason it was so cheap is because it's missing the cast control cap as Daiwa calls it. I cannot find this reel in the Daiwa parts breakdowns anywhere. It's labeled as an Arachnid 100H but the tag on it says 100HL. Is this the same reel as a Tatula 100HL? Are the parts interchangeable? Where can I get a cap? Did I make a $50 mistake?

Maybe a stupid question
How does a fish finder work? I fully understand sonar and how it works but I cannot fathom(no pun) how it's displayed. When you look at the screen is it just a cross-section of the water directly below you or does it show sort of an inverted funnel seen from the top down?

This stuff needs to go. That is all.

How Buoyant is Mono?
Is mono buoyant enough to float jig heads used in tubes? If I cast a weightless 5" senko into 30' of water will it hit the bottom or will the 6lb mono eventually stop it from sinking?

Daiwa Type HD Tatula 200H
Picked up a Daiwa Type HD Tatula 200H for $140 at Cabelas today. They're on sale for a bit but have limited quantities.

Heading to Columbia SC
I'm heading to Columbia next week and would like a vaca. away from in inlaws. I'm considering renting a boat at Sesquicentennial State Park for a day and fishing the lake at the park. Any suggestions? Another concern I've got is snakes. They're not my favorite and I like to avoid them. I've seen a lot of posts for SC with people saying watch out for snakes. Are they a problem on the water or just typically on shore? Thanks in advance.

General Help
I cannot seem to get on the fish no matter what I do. I fish a particular lake several times a week. The bottom is mostly rip rap and water depth depends on where I stand. It can be a very steep 30ish feet or a very gradual slope to 10-15. There is little to no vegetation or laydowns. The lake gets drawn down through the winter to kill off shallow vegetation. It's incredibly clear. I'd guess about 20 feet. I know there are large bass in there as I've seen them. I've also found beds that were about 4 feet across. I'm getting frustrated. I've spent hours trying everything I own. Help
