I was fishing with some friends from work yesterday and I was told by one of my coworkers that " you were all wrong yesterday, you cannot throw a crankbait on a spinning rod, it does not run correctly on spinning gear." I was like I don't understand I have never heard that ever in my life. My coment back to him was that I have been successful using crankbaits with spinning gear and Baitcasting gear and I could not tell you that there was a difference at all. Am I correct in my view or is baitcasting gear better for crankbait fishing? Eric
