  1. Kids rods

    MammaMac posted a topic in Fishing Rods, Reels, Line, and Knots
    I have 8 year old twins (girl/boy). We are getting ready to buy a boat and really start the kids fishing. So far it's just been with cheapo Walmart rigs but we want to upgrade them to a better system. My daughter is 4'2" and my son is 4'8". Any suggestions for rod length and reels? I was looking at the Zebco 33 Micro 5' for my daughter. Her dexterity is not that great. Not sure if I should get a 5'6" rod for my son or go ahead with the 6' rod. Any suggestions or thoughts on my choices are welcome.
