Has anyone fished Council Grove (the small lake) at all recently? Heading up there this weekend for a few days. Planning on throwing the ned, jig and craw, maybe try and find a top water bite.... any advice would be great!

I'll have to book a trip with ya sometime! What else do you go after this time of year on Lonestar? Is there a LM bite out there this time of year? I landed a few really nice bass out there last summer.

Hey! Heading out to Lone Star this weekend with the camper and my nephew. I do have a couple of kayaks I might bring along. Do we have any chance of getting on any Crappie from the banks or are they all suspended out deep over brush? Any tips / pointers would be much appreciated!
