    Okay I will try some of the smaller swim jigs and see how that works...do I need a floor leader on braid?

    Have been looking at different rods last night. Any thoughts in the dobyns fury rod? What kind brand of braid are you guys using?

    Mainly thinking of fishing around grass. Have mostly 1/2 oz jigs I am going to be using. I have seen a lot of guys saying braided line for grass. What makes it the go to for this situation?

    I am in the market for a swim jog rod. Have not really fished with them at all until this year. Need some suggestions on rods ....length, action, brand ...line type to match. Any suggestions on specific rods would be great. Looking to spend under $150. Thanks guys
