I'd walk the bank and find a couple crawfish then I'd match a Mizmo tube to the color of the craw. I'd use between an 1/8 and 3/8 weight depending on how deep I had to go.
Always a topwater bait like a tiny torpedo in Chrome. That's my favorite.
Maybe swim a white fluke around those lilly pads.
This guy is obviously fishing on the Fox River for Smallies. It doesn't look like spring but usually the smallies aren't too far away from where they spend the spring to the summer or fall. After the whole chicken thing he lands a tank smallie. I'd try to figure out his spots.
I've saw a bass in Georgia like that. It was a lake with a lot of tournament fishing.
