About a year ago I discovered these two small ponds along the railroad tracks. The ponds are very close to my house so I've been there well over 20 times, often in the summer and then a couple times just recently. The ponds are fairly shallow but I've never seen any fish in these ponds only turtles and frogs. I figured if the frogs were there then the fish must feed on them. I went out and bought a boo yah pad crasher and fished it, nothing. Over the span of a couple months I fished everything I had in my tackle box, and not one single bite. I'm losing hope and have yet to catch anything here. What should I do? I joined a fishing spot finder and located these ponds and a guy said there is "lots of fish in these ponds" I tried to contact him but no response. Just to be clear I have been throwing crankbaits, jerk baits, senkos, spinners , all types of soft plastics, you name it I tried to fish it.
