So I bought a new Pfluger spinning reel. As stated on the reel it only gives the # of yards of line up to 10# line. Does this mean I shouldn't put 12# mono line on it, or will it be fine most likely?

Would something like 8# for Senkos and 12# for cover fishing jigs sound like it would be a good route with the big game?

I think I'll do the 8# for the Senkos and 12# for the jigs. Any recommendation for line? I had an issue seeing my line last year so I def need to do something different on color.

Will the 10-12# mono be fine for the Senko and jig setups or do I want to have a heavier line for jigs? Thanks!

Hi, newb bass fishermen here so take it easy on me. I have two medium action spinning reels and rods that I want to setup for large mouth fishing with Senkos and Jigs. I've heard that Fluro doesn't do well on spinning reels. I used 6# mono with my Senkos last year and everything seemed to work fine. Should I change my line to help me out with Senko fishing and what should I use for tossing around jigs? Is their a certain Fluro or braid that will do a solid job with my setups? Thanks!
