  1. if it feel different just set the hook
  2. Why would you want to do that? If anything, I would recommend pushing the treble against the body of the bait and cutting off the third hook that hangs down. Personally, I want as many hooks as possible hanging off there.... x2
  3. yeah it happens to me all the time. My biggest drum ever was a 20lber caught on a jig while I was fishin a bluff wall

  5. When they opened up a bunch of 200-900 acre lakes around here in the 70s my granddad and his fishing buddy would get out in the creek channels of the lakes and troll these and wear the bass out. they are like are backwards crankbaits.
  6. Correct. Although Dale Hollow remains the odds-on favorite to produce the next World Record, the Tennessee River reserviors are viable candidates. Dale Hollow is the home of the two largest smallmouth ever caught (11 lb 15 oz & 10 lb 14 oz). Over the past five years, three 10 lb brown fish have been boated on the Tennessee including one in Alabama below Wheeler Dam (technically Wilson reservior) that challenged the State Record (10 lb 8 oz) and a fish my partner caught which I netted and weighed. This fish was caught in November 2004. If it is still alive and caught again, it could be the new World Record. We know where it lives! 8-) actually there was another 10lber out of Dale Hollow that weighed 10-9 caught in I think 1986
  7. Me and my dad are gonna try for a couple of hours 2morrow. Around here the temp has topped 100 every day for like 2 1/2 weeks. but 2morrow its only gonna be about 90 ;D. This we are like 20 inches below normal rainfall and they are saying this the worst drought in 60 years.

  11. I read on the pure fishing website which owns Berkely that when Vanish came on the market its purpose was to be a finesse line for finesse baits. Then anglers started using it for power techniqes which it was not designed for. So I use it sometimes for shaky head.

  20. I was at wally world with my dad the other day and was looking at the reels in the glass case and saw a gold Quantum Accurist for $103.95 and I said that can't be right because at the sporting goods store right down the road the same exact reel is $69.95 NOT ON SALE. It is hard for me to believe this.
