I have to use those smaller ones like the 4 inch storms and the smallest optimums because I don't live in Southern California lol.We don't got no 20lbers here in west Tennessee.

Probably about an 9lber on Kentucky Lake fishing laydowns down a straight bank on a white spinnerbait. I was only using 15 lb test line and when I went to get the net and accidentally pointed my rod at him and pop my line broke.Since then in stuff like I use 17 or 20 pound test line unless I am in superclear water which I am not normally in.

I always wear a life jacket because back last January I fell into water that cold and didn't have a life jacket on but luckily I was fishing docks and was able to climb on one of the docks.That experience keeps me wearin one.

If you want to catch bigger fish but not as many use something like a 6 inch lizard or 10 inch worm.If you want to catch more but smaller fish use something lie a 4 inch worm or something.

That water is cold I can tell u personaslly because I fell into water that cold back in January.There was about an 1/8 inch of ice on the water I busted right through it and fell into the water.

Oh yeah I seriously left somebody important out of my top 5 Bryan Kerchal he died such a tragic death that cut short what I think would have been a great career that would probably continue today.
