Thanks for replying man. Yea Im thinking about buying an oil injection delete style pump and just premix my fuel. Thanks for the tip about the fuel pump I'll look at it. I'm gonna put some new plugs in it tonight and make sure they are gapped right see if that does anything. Otherwise I'm gonna take it to the mechanic.

1994 Evinrude intruder (E150GLERV) on a 1994 stratos 285 pro XL. Just replaced powerpack with a brand new unit. Engine starts right up and idles extremely high then idle comes down and then it dies. I can start it right up only to have the same thing happen again. I can rev the engine up but have to do it extremely slow because it will bog out and die if I throttle it too fast. What do you guys think is going on? Also there is a a little bit of fuel leaking out of the front rubber cover on the fuel pump and I can't hear the pump while the key is on. Just want to make sure you guys think it's the pump before I spend some coin.
