  1. Thanks Wayne P. - Looking at the Web App was a huge help.
  2. tgat77, I live in Tn as well and I have a question for you. I am fairly new to owning a decent bass boat with electronics, so hopefully this wont sound to stupid. I have the Elite 5 HDI on console and Mark 5 up front. Are the Lake Cards worth the money? I plan on fishing some of the same lakes you listed. Holston and Cherokee are my closest lakes. (not counting Boone, which has no water) The GPS works really well and I have bought all the paper maps with Lats. and Longs so I can use those. I am hesitating on spending 170 to buy the card with the maps on it and I dont see myself doing any sonar logging to create my own maps anytime soon. Any advise from anyone would be great.
  3. I noticed this post has been going on awhile and I wanted to say "Thanks and keep it up please" - I started bass fishing seriously when I bought my boat back in August 2015. I put an Elite 5 HDI on the console and a Mark 5 on the front. Your post have helped me with my electronics better than anything else I have tried so far. I am taking a trip to Lake Russell next week for 3 days and looking forward to putting all your info to good use. (or at least trying) I seem to get better results when I take it off Auto and adjust the Down Scan and Sonar myself, but I really don't understand the color line setting as opposed to how it helps. Can any of you talk about these settings for the Elite 5? Thanks again.
