  1. Anyone getting excited for this weekend??? The Lake I'll be fishing this weekend is Leech Lake, and sad to say, but the conditions look atrocious. Here's the weather for the week- weekend: https://weather.com/weather/5day/l/56484:4:US So, as you can see atrocious, high of 54 degrees all weekend and I have no idea if the Bass will be biting. Might have to move to walleye fishing for the opener. What do you guys think? Any tips for cold weather bass fishing in MN? This will be my first opener being a noobie fisherman, but I'm excited. What lakes you guys fishing this weekend? I want to hear!
  2. Thank you!! I offered the guy $1200 and he accepted right away, so I'll be leaving to go pick it up in the next few hours, super excited!! Thank you guys for the advice, I'll have to make sure to update on how the thing runs!
  3. Hello everyone! I'm quite new to these forums, but I've been doing a lot of reading about boats-kayaks and which Is better for my type of fishing.. For a while I was set on getting a 2016 FeelFree Lure 11.5, but I realized I needed a boat for the fishing I'd be doing (Fishing with friends, mainly Bass-Walleye fishing in Nodak and MN) That being said.. I have a couple of questions about a boat I've been looking at. First.... A little about me and how much I have to spend.. I'm a 18 year old graduating high school kid, who's saved about a couple grand for something special for my senior year. Fishing being my passion the past few years, I thought it was time to use that money on a used boat I can use throughout college! With my budget of around $1500 it's been hard to find a used boat that's in "decent" condition, but after a month of looking and losing hope I think I may of found what I was looking for. 14' Lund Boat with Mercury 9.9hp tiller and Spartan roller trailer, motor tuned up and has 2 seats...It's $1400 and I think I could maybe get it for around $1200, The link for the Craigslist listing: https://fargo.craigslist.org/boa/5541738036.html What I'm asking you guys for, is whether or not this boat is worth the Price-Time Should I keep waiting-looking for a better boat? Is this a good price for the boat? I kind of know prices for boats after searching for a while, but would like to see what you think. Will this last me for 4-8 years? I can't post another photo of the interior, but I'd need to put some work into the inside! Anyways, I have a good feeling about this listing and any feedback is much appreciated, the feelfree kayak is still an option, but would like to be able to fish with friends. Love this site and can't wait to use it more! Thanks!
