Need some advice for Lake Anna
My son (12) and I are going to be fishing the Veterans day Fishing Tournament at Lake Anna on Saturday. We have only been on the lake 4 times. Fished it Sunday and am more confused then I was before. I have read everything I can think of and just cannot seem to put anything together. I am not looking for a SPOT to fish. Just advice on how to find fish. We have only really found fish deep but can't get them to bite. Figure I am going to go up lake. Fish docks, rock points and grass, and throw the tackle box at it again.

Ed Allen boat rental
Bank fishing hasn't been cutting it for us ( me and my son). The boss says I am still 9 months away from a boat purchase. Only options I see for rental in decent fishing area is Ed Allens on Chick lake. ( we live in Chesterfield area) What are your thoughts? My son ( just turned 11) need to hook a good bass. Thanks

Thanks. I know we have run bigger boats and jet skis all over the place. But I don't cross the lake much.

Lake Gaston question
Looking into getting a Tracker 175 Txw (17' 8"). I know I will be fine in Pea Hill and other creeks. Will I be able to cross lake at all? Haven't spent much time in main lake. Thanks

What do you think of Bass Tracker boats?
I am also looking at getting new aluminum bass boat. Have looked at Tracker 175txw, Lowe and Ranger RT178. For us the Tracker might just fit the bill. Actually we liked the front deck of Tracker and rear deck of Ranger. The Lowe,,,,,, no thinks!! Did not seem very well made and had some issues that I cant be leave left the factory. ( suck as a metal bracket that mounts the console sticking out. Could see someone catching a leg on it and needing stiches. Trailer had plastic fenders, etc.) The Ranger did have a few nicer finishes then the Tracker, but also came at higher cost. In both of the RT178 I saw the driver seat was not centered behind the steering wheel. I found that extremely odd. We have not made up our minds yet, but I am leaning towards 175txw with 75hp motor. I like the rod locker and the price...... But we will see.
