I haven't been fishing smallies long...didn't realize what I was missing. Only place I can hunt for them is the Quinnipiac river near where I work other than that I've got no clue. But the 4 inch Gary Yamamoto in rainbow trout caught me a nice on the other day. Other than that various color worms in 5 inch Texas rigged has worked... I typically throw green pumpkin...or black/blue or black n purple...or just plain black.yum dinner has a two tone white/grey mixture that produces no matter what...even the all white one. Even rainbow trout rooster tail in 1/6 has grabbed a few dinks of the small mouth variety
