I am not an experienced fisherman. I guess I'm just really wondering if a MH with moderate fast tip is good for texas rigs. Ill just order both I guess. All the shops I've called around my area don't have any in stock so thats why I came here to get yalls opinion. I have had problems missing fish with a medium rod with fast tip but I'm thinking a Medium heavy with moderate fast tip may be a better opinion but wanted to get a second opinion. Ill be the first to say that I am not a very good fisherman but I am trying to learn. Just looking for advice. If it helps any I mainly fish a river with very light grass if any.

Ok I have decided to go with a Lew's Custom Speed Stick for my new worm rod. Now the part I'm not sure about is if I should get the one they label a worm rod which is a 7'0 Medium Heavy with moderate fast tip. Or should I get the 7'0 Medium Heavy with Fast Tip. It will mainly be used throwing a weightless fluke and at the most a light Texas Rig. So Ill let y'all decide. Thanks!!!

I am not sure what year my citica is but id say its about 5-6 years old. The issue I am having is even with the tension knob screwed all the way in no matter how you hard you throw it, the spool just goes like there is no tension at all. Which of course is a huge backlash everytime. I've brought it and had it repaired multiple times and it will work great for a while then start again. Anybody know what may be causing this? Also my brakes are set three up and three down but even if you move all of them up it makes no difference.

Ok long story short last weekend. Tried to set hook on a fish fell down and broke about 250 dollars worth of rods (shimanos) well I need to replace them cause warranty has been over and also don't have the receipts anyway. I don't have a lot to spend and was looking at getting a couple Shimano Clarus rods. I searched on here and seen a couple topics on them but I heard that they changed them up and maybe upgraded them so I wanted to see if y'all can give any reviews on the newer models before I purchase. I'd really appreciate it.
