I don't I like how much it plops when it falls into the water, a giant weight, with a 6 3/4" trick worm, looks a little off, most of the time, also with rage craws

looking for a good worm rod to go with my 13 casting 7:3:1 reel, avid x doesn't sell around a 3/16 weight for casting, would it still perform as well? The big weights usually do not suit me.

what would be better for a worm rod/jig rod?

thank you, very informative, I have st croix mojo inshore for saltwater, love them to death, but I heard the g loomis was good as well, I think I will go with the Avid X

looking to get a new rod to go with my *** reel 7:3:1 was looking either into getting st croix avid x or g loomis e6x? any opinions?
