    I am fishing a tournament on Saturday and need some advice on this lake. The water is funny right now in some areas and the State fishing reports slow activity.

    I fished Old river at England and we caught 10 bass about 2-3 lbs. each. Full of eggs. Catch and release. The week before that I caught a 5 lb. Walleye at Ouachita River. The rain and up and down weather has them acting silly. I heard Lake Conway was good for Red-ears on the bank with Crickets. When the water drops a little more, go to MT Ida and fish Rocky Shoals for small mouth. Tube jigs, and flukes work well. Beetle spins yellow with black spot 3/8 oz.
