Texas Rigged Neds?
Do you leave the wire guard as is, or spread the two wires out horizontally. I have tried both ways and seem to loose more fish either way versus the regular shroomz head. It feels like I get a solid hookset but when i get then to the boat they seem to shake the hook 75% of the time.

Spinnerbaits
I usually throw a plain white booyah spinnerbait, no trailer hook, and no trailer, which has been the method that has worked best for me. However If I am throwing a different spinnerbait with maybe a longer skirt, due to specific conditions, I will add a trailer hook and very rarely a trailer, like a grub or small paddle tail. Honestly I see it as personal preference and a confidence thing for the most part.

What is a Thermocline
I trying to get out of my comfort zone and fish deeper water, points, and basically more off-shore areas. In researching and trying to learn techniques about this I've come across the term 'thermocline' several times. I have an idea of what it is but would like some more information on what it is, and how it will effect fishing.

How would you fish it
I know creating a pond/lake is a lot more than digging a hole in the ground, but on top of the excavating done, did you have to dam up the creek(s) you mentioned? I just got a small dozer, and really want to make our small farm pond about this size.

Dumb You Tube Fishing Stuff
I am new the this forum, but I've been fishing for several years now. I joined to learn, even if I already know a bait, or technique, etc, there is always still something more to learn. I try to absorb as much information as possible from television, Youtube, magazines, books and so on. Even watching un-boxing videos provide some information. Youtube is a very vast world, so if you don't like a channel or a video, find a new one, there's millions of choices.

W And M Brent Chapman Insight Pro Advantage Rod
I see this was posted 2 years ago, however I just purchased one from walmart for $40. Overall Its a great rod for the price and very very light. I currently use it for spinner baits, and lighter T-rigged plastics. It has held up well and my only complaint is the sensitivity of the rod. I don't really find it to be that sensitive. I also have a HALO Starlight, which is around the same price range and it provides a lot more sensitivity IMO. But for under $50 its a solid rod.
