    That's what I was thinking but when I went to grab it, instead of having the sand paper feeling inside its mouth, it was like a bunch of tacks

    It wouldn't let me upload a picture of the fish but I've caught walleye before, I know what they look like

    I was fishing a stretch of the Susquehanna river in New York and I caught this, reeled it up, saw what looked to be a smallmouth but when I went to grab it's lower lip, I was pricked by what were above average sized teeth for a bass, anyone have any ideas?
