I think I found that island you guys were talking about. It had a bunch of "no trespassing" signs leading up to it, but wading through the river would probably circumvent that. I am definitely going to give that a chance once the river lowers and clears. Thanks again

Hey Sam I looked at pony pasture today but I think the water level was too high to hit the rocks. Where exactly is that island? Is it the Williams island? Thanks again

Where on Brown's Island do you fish at?

I am trying to find some spots to go bass fishing around Richmond. I hear that the James is a decent spot for smallies, but for the life of me I can't get even a bite. I have tried Ancarrow's landing and the Pipeline but I didn't have any luck navigating the strong current with my lures. Any advice on rigging/lures or spots around the James/Richmond area would be greatly appreciated!
