I am getting ready for fishing this summer and starting to make some homemade bait. Came across this discussion. I get lots of packages from Amazon that contain styrofoam brick packaging. Good stuff for fishing gadgets. I use to scrape off some sand size pieces and mix with bait balls for flotation. Now thinking about casting some frog lures and mixing the Styrofoam with the melted gummy bears for the liquid and pouring into the mold.
