Well i received my Fat Ika's monday about 4 days after i should have gotten them and can hardly wait to try them out . I also had my daughter to call GYCB's and asked for a partial refund on the shipping since they made the mistake of shipping ups ground instead of 3 day and they remembered me from being so upset last week that they decided to not charge any shipping I complained about the company when they screwed up so i thought it be fit to let everyone know they did try to make things better in the end . RW i sure hope your right about these things for me and my son inlaw have had enuff skunks in our tourneys lately. We are catching fish just not keepers . Again thanks to all

Thanks for the help guys, i will try some of these places in the future . I did look for the Palm trees as well but cant find either . The only thing i have found is the ikas and i must admit i tried them last saturday and was the only thing i got bit on :-X so i decided to go to the bigger version . If they produce as good as the lil brother then i must say im sold on them . Thanks again for the help.

I have heard RW say how good these things are for so long i had to give them a try . I ordered some through GYCB monday afternoon and paid for the 3 day shipping so i could recieve them by this weekend due to local tourney. Much to my surprise i had not recieved them bye friday and checked on them and was told would be delivered monday > Needless to say it has put a bad taste in my mouth with this company , like the price isnt high enough wothout payin the extra shipping . Just wondered where most of you get yours cause i have been unable to locate any close by me ( Eastern North Carolina ) thanks

Glenn i think to get the least of responses id ask who hasnt? lol ;D And like everyone says take it easy till you get the hang of it .I bought my first last summer, an older Ranger . Well i was use to a tiller handle 25 horse and to go to a 200 was incredible . But believe me these things will hurt you if ya dont know what your doin . They do put out books and stuff to help you with this , i purchased one from wally world . It helps a lot!!! And read and learn before ya go out on the water with other people in your boat unless its someone that has a bass boat and knows what they are doing and can advise you of what to do !!!!!! I almost throwed myself out of my boat at a high rate of speed tryin to turn too short . thank god nobody was in the boat with me at the time. I must say the best advise is to read and find someone that knows how to run one to go out with ya the first couple of times. JMO

I dont know about everyone else but for me i use what the manufacturer recomends!!!!! jmo

Its been very unstable in North Carolina as well this year . I am sick of all this wind and rain . Its suppose to be nice here for today but unfortunately the wife has other obligations for me :-/ but i havnt let this weather keep me down. If it only for a few minutes on the bank of a local pond i just have to go cast a few times a day ;D ;D ;D just to see if the big guys are up yet. We have had some pretty good luck so far. When the weather just wont let ya go tinker around on the boat or rods and reels and just think it will be just right one day soon......oh and by the way dont get as bad as a guy i had to go tow yesterday ;D i was called to go out to a local pond where i fish from time to time, the dispatcher said they needed my wrecker there for a truck that was in the pond!!!! So i quickly respondedand when i arrived thank god it wasnt " IN " the pond just hanging over the edge. A guy had went to fish and the person that see's over the pond asked him if he had permission, the guy responds yes, so the the man says well i need you to sign this permit not hold us responsible in case of injury here! The other guy fishing didnt like this and says a few choise words then goes and gets into his truck. the guy with the permits goes back to work cleanin around the pond and the next thing ya know here comes a truck crashing thru the fence into a parked truck there and over the edge of the pond !!!!!!! Now i must say i have cabin fever but wow!!!!1 ;D

lots of times as it has already been said youll feel a tap tap tap if you feel this or ANYTHING out of the ordinary look at you line where it is going into the water, if its moving i always reel down to a 9 oclock position and SET THE HOOK !!!!!!!!!! remember if your fishing this weedless it has to penetrate thru the bait before it will go into the fish so dont be affraid to set that hook good . thats just my opinion. good luck and listen to these guys ....they know what they are talking about !!!!!! ;D

Abel , The best advice anyone could give is dont rush ! I had a friend just a couple of weeks ago sell his boat here in NC and someone in Fla bought it. It was a 21-22 ft Triton Bass and Bay boat no carpet it had the wash down inside it dual console and 225 v max and a Genesis trolling motor. Super nice Boat with 2 yrs warranty left on it. it was a 2000 model that he bought in 2001 and he gave like 36,000 bucks and sold for 16,500 . It could have been bought for 14,500 but he got that . So what im sayin is people are always gettin out and just wanna get rid of the boats. Take your time and you can get a real deal if ya look .

Hey William, I havnt fished buckhorn " YET " but have a good frien that goes there all the time. Have heard a lot of good about it tho. Im lookin forward to going there this yr ;D
