I started using 10lb Vanish Transition on one of my rods this fall. I caught a lot of bass in October without any problems. I notice if you don't properly lube the line before cinching the knot you can easily snap the line at the knot. If in doubt I re-tie my palomar.

I crush barbs on everything, salt water & fresh. Love the super easy removal, especially on bigger pickeral and blues.
