    Greetings everybody, this is my first post on this website. I've been fishing for many years and I've just decided to get some light/ultralight tackle. I just purchased a Major Craft BassPara BPS-662UL rod and a Shimano Symetre SY1000FL reel. Would these two match up well? If not, I have no problem buying another rod and reel so that I have two well matched rigs. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks!
