It dosent matter it being a public forum. If someone wants to go out there and take it out be my guest. THe problem is with the lake you can only fish one side if you have no boat. The piece of crap comes around when you throw your bait in the water and then your left high and dry. Thats the only clean lake to go fishing in around here otherwise its just gonna be a coast trip. Oh well crap on it. If I catch him with something I catch him, cant do nada about it cause I want to fish.

Id admire its buauty if it would stay the crap away from where we are fishing. But since it smells bait he comes over and scares everything away. We sat out there for like 6 hours with no hits until I looked up and relized why. Him sitting in the cove wandering around. The city of Borene are bunch of idiots for leaving this thing in there. It ruins fishing anyone in here will tell you that. Fish arent dumb they since danger and they swim to the other end of the lake.

I dont want to break line I want to drag his *** in and make boots and wallets out him. He scares all the fish away off the bank for hours when he comes out. SO heres what Im trying to say, If I sink a shark hook into him and bring him in, shoot him in the head and pack him up will I get in trouble??

Hmmm I just put about 25 yards of 10# mono and fill it with spider wire. A lot easier than using two different reels. IMO Never failed until I let the monopoly guy at the store do it for me. I cast out and bird nested a spinning reel with braid. How in the crap did that happen? No clue. I was ticked though and went back and wanted to slap him witht he rod. Instead I asked the manager if this guy even knew what he was doing and he said he was from the shoe dept. If I would of know that I would of walked away and never looked back. Any who thats how i gets it done.

Wow I would take a fresh bass filet over anything. Bass are great around here. Bake em with some fresh garlic thyme and oregeno and they taste awesome.

They wont take him out cause they say its his natural habitat. Yeah right. So they just let it be there cause noones gotten nailed by it yet. Oh I also saw like a 10 pound koi in there last weekend. I tried so hard to catch it, it would chase my lures around. Piece of crap.

I honestly cant shop at the bass pro shop. A lot of the stuff there is way over priced for what ive seen it for else where. Even sinkers are stupidly priced. SOme of the stuff there is alright but I dont know might just be me. Would love to get the wall filled up but thats what Ive got on me right now so it serves well.

Heres the issue. Where I fish there is a gator maybe more. Its been about a year since I saw it last until last weekend we saw it again. Last year when I was fishing I cast out without relizing he was there and he ended up snapping at the bait I had and I ended up hookin up with it. I thought it was cool for a minute until I relised I really wasnt reeling him in, he was swimming in I waas just leading him right to me. Well he comes about 6ft from shore and we spot light him know seeing his full size. Hes a 6tf gator and looks ticked that we spot lighted him. So seeing how big he is I find it really not fun anymore and when he opens his mouth I yank the line out of him. He spins and books it into the water. So last weekend we see him again and figure out where hes coming from. My question is (I live in texas) Is it illegal to catch these things or what? what if its an accident is it still not right and if I do drag him close enough and say he "attacks" us is it illegal to shoot it? They have posted signs of him out there but we fish at night and he comes out at night. So hit this thing up and let me know what you guys think or know. God Bless

Oh yea just to make it clear, the crawfish were for mud slugs aka catfish not the bass. I got that baby on a rattle trap.

Caught this little booger out in a cove on the lake. Hit on the lure real quick and faught harder than the two big boys ive hit on. So since he was a baby decided to let him go. ANd this guy was one of our baits that we kept alive.

Yeah where they caught it at people kyak and wade fish a lot. You can walk out there into the water and fish. That is scary.

Yea but my purpose bass was bigger than that one. As for as the crawfish having revenge thats letting it go to waste. So all in all time for some baked bass with garlic sauce and pasta Thats only the second bass ive caught in my life and both were good size hogs as you guys put it.

Well I would be in a better mood about this bass if i were actually fishing for bass last night. It was a wierd night the lake was scary quiet and calm. No breeze not too many mosquitos but the drunkards skinny dippin down the lake of us were plentiful. Well we went camping at our favorite spot and set up camp and got the rod holder sin the grounnd fire going and havin fun. Night was dead and silent and calm. No bites no runs. (Fishing for mudslugs AKA catfish) So I get tired of waiting for something big so I set up a lightweight with a tiny hook and a bobber and hook on to a nice size perch. So we filet it out and bait up and by now its about 2am so we decide to hit the hay. Im campin in a chair cause i had the light rod out in the water like a tard to see if I could hook onto a 50lb catfish : when i get a little bite. Needless to say it was a baby catfish maybe a fish taco so not worth keeping. I decide to go lay in the dirt when i relize that one of my othr rods has been on the run for a bit. I think i crashed out and it was now around 330am. Well I notice my reel is half empty so im crappin myself thinkin its the mother of all fishes. Well a few minutes pass of realing and finally I feel something the resembles a fish. So I get it on shore and to my amazement sits a bass. I was shocked. It actually hit on a slab of cut bait. I didnt know they did that at all or if they do do that. I felt really bad though cause its mouth was pretty messed up from runnin for so long im guessing. So I grabbed to cam took a few shots that really werent worth nada and tried to release it. it was only out of the water about a minute at tops. I held it till it got strength then let it swim off but a few seconds later it was floating in the lake. :'( I dont know if it was stress or what but it died shortly after me going for a swim to go retrieve it cause i didnt want the thing to go out like that. Just give me a net ;D The bass I have at my house went for 10 days without eating cause I was poor. Ive also had time like that when there were good sized bass just sitting there. I dropped a hook with a worm on it and poked it in the face with nothing happening.

ok, I know you probably don't mean this in a bad way and I know you're not the only one who uses that term, but I've been seeing it more on this board as of late and I just have to say that it is offensive to me. "retard" or "tard" is not an acceptable term to me. Having worked with kids for special needs over the last 5 summers, it really hurts me when people say it and I just don't think it is acceptable. Making fun of a friend not a special needs child or person. My friend dosent even know his left from his right so I have the right make a video of him taking 56 minutes to cut a muffler off. I dont think guy up there meant anything by saying "tard" But if it bothered you that much you should have imed him and told him something, not me. Im tired of people screwing up my threads. How many calories are you taking in and are they healthy calories? I know a guy who has the exact same problem. 6' about 130. We got him up to 142 and then he quit going to the gym. In 3-4 weeks he was back to 130.

Because if this is the extent of your experience with transplanting fish from one body of water to another, you are greatly undereducated on the subject, which means this is somthing you know nothing about. Parasites and viruses aren't always visible to the naked eye, to assume so is irresponsible. Consult a marine biologist or even a game warden. Ask questions. At a minimum, dose your water with aquarisol, a few days before you release them. Please. Now, I can't force you to read past posts, laws or articles pertaining to this subject, so with that, I'm out of this one. LBH I hope you come back to read this. I dont even know what your talking about with what you wrote up here. What I was getting at, is that people throw all kinds of fish in the lake a I go to. There is even a 2' koi that lingers about out there. Im not saying it is right to throw these fish out there I hate that people do thing like that because it destroys population. The fish I have will go back to the same lake they came out of. I didnt post the vid for people to get their panties in a wad about. It was just posted because not many people have bass in their fish tanks and most people on here seem to like it. I didnt post it up here to start anything over. I looked for past posts and didnt find anything about keeping bass in your home. As long as your not trying to start a fishery in your back yard you dont have to contact a game warden to take home a fish you caught. Yea it would be cool if I woke up one morning and I had a tank full of bass but it just wont happen. They are both males. They are expensive to maintain but I never slack on what they need. I know that no all viruses and parasites can be seen. But I know what to look for in their health because I did do research on taking care of them. I also have a friend who work at an aquarium that I go to if any of my fish satrt acting strange. Why did I even get so much bunk for this? Its not like I posted a video of me sawing off the head of a baby bass or anything. People just enjoy the vid.
