Night fishing in that lake can be phenominal. The cove in front of the old campground, across to ferringtons beach up to the narrows has done me well.

If your only 30 min from either launch I would put in at the narrows and fish lower bay and middle bay.

I was fishing a hump that came up from 35 feet of water to 20 feet. Tossed a carolina rigged black worm. First cast got a hit. Set the hook and thought I had a 6 or 7 lb largemouth. Ended up being a 5.14 pickeral. Next cast caught a 4 lb pickeral. Anyone else catch big pickeral in deep water?
