yesturday my lowrance x 88 just stoped reading on the graph and wont read depth , the temp still works though. could it be the transducer? i noticed before it would make a tickin noise at the transducer now its not making any sound.

no help. i downloaded the manual but it doesnt show the wiring like that, it just shows a black and white. thanks for the info though. maybe somebody that has one with simular wireing could help.

i got a lowrance x88 and it had no wiring instructions. i need to know how to wire up the power cord. it has three sets of wires comeing out of the one plug, one has a small red and black and bare wire, the other has a small blue, yellow, orange, and bare wire, and the last set are bigger and it has a red, white, and black wire. the small red,black and bare wire has a tag that says mnea 2000 power and the blue , yellow, orange, and bare say rs-232 comm. i do not know where these wires go . thanks for any help.

Is my water pump bad? When I idle there is not a lot of water coming out of the hose and it will overheat when idling. When I am running, more water comes out but still not a strong stream, but it does not overheat. If so, is it hard to change out? I have a 120 Johnson V4, 89 model. Thanks

im in south ga. a cold front came through and i guess it was just trying to find a warm place under the very thick mat. i found a little hole in the mat and dropped the jig in and it gulped it up.

i went out today flippin thick cover with a blue and black jig and caught this 9.2 in about 2ft of water.

i was told you should put your oil in first then pump the gas. the thig is i never know how many gal. its gonna take so i dont know how much oil to add. can you pump the gas first and see how many gal. you have and then add the oil or is there another way of doing it? :-?

garnet, so what you are saying is when i hook up another battery i will get more speed. with just the 12v it does seem to be very slow

i have a 12 / 24 volt motor, it is hooked up for 12v right now. do i just get another battery and hook the other wires up and flip the switch to 24v? what is the purpose for the 24v, is it for longer battery life or more lb thrust or speed? i have no ideal. thanks

what is your best lure for flippin into thick mat like cover where u have to just drop it down into tho holes?
