Swimbait fishing pressured quarry stocked with trout
I fish a small sand stone quarry it's about 20 acres and gets a lot of fishing pressure everyday at deepest it's around 26ft deep. The lake is stocked with trout so do you think using a trout swimbait would work I've never seen anyone using one and any tips on using it would be appreciated

Should I switch line?
It's not my knot it's from frayed line or fish rubing the line against something I've never had a problem with knots it's the line getting frayed to easy It's prior to the knot it seems like it frays to much and I change the line a lot any time I see any frays or kinks far up the line I change my line all the time since it comes in a big spool but it still seems like it breaks from minimal pressure and I'm positive my knot is not the problem

Tip guide insert cut
I have a Duckett Ghost and the tip guide has been cut my the line I only use mono and it still cuts the insert the insert is made out of stainless steel and nothing else. I emailed the company and they sent me a few tip replacements. Should I put the tips they sent me and may have to replace again later or should I find a different replacement tip and use that.
