So I sent back my pointer and just got it back. Had a note in the box saying "we will replace it this time but from here on out you we do not replace defective lures, your dealer will have to decide"
Well BPS AND luckycraft customer service said to send it back too Luckycraft... After buying 2 of the baits and have issues with both I will most likely never buy from them again. There is ONE person that seems to work there. On top of that the one person seems to not know what she said from one day to the next. I'm considering send both of the baits back and get my money back.
I wasn't expecting anything but my original bait, but COMEON, the warranty on the back says they will replace it and now they are acting like their wonderful paint never chipped and are refusing to help me from here on out.
Looks like Rapala is my go to company now. In tougher conditions my jointed rapala did the same thing as the pointer. With the exception of the LC having better hook sets.
Oh I fished the luckycraft for 15 min over GRASS and the paint chipped off because of hook swinging. Isn't that why you bought it? Because the paint doesn't chip?
Someone said that Rapalas customer service can be a pain sometimes.... Well I spent 3.99 on a jointed shad rap that has similar action to the pointer. I spent 18.99 on the pointer. In my experience I have been treated well for only having bought a 4$ lure. Compared to having bought a 19$ lure and being told never to contact the company attempting to fix a defective product.
I was wondering WHY there are no Luckycraft Customer Service Info out there. IE "hey my lure is defective; here is my story" Well its because LuckyCraft puts themself as far from the customer as they possibly can they put dealers, stores, anything they can between them and the customer. Sorry but thats not the way to get a customer base. Yeah you get guys like Swindle, Reese, Jordan, but its the recreational angler that pays the bills.
Oh the reason they put dealers etc between you and them is so you can never get your product replaced if its defective. For instance you have it 31 days and the paint falls off. Now you have to buy a new one. LuckyCraft Isnt going to help you and they are gonna tell you to go to the dealer. The dealer is going to tell you that your 30 day warranty is up.
Dont get anyone a luckycraft unless they can fish it right away. Because if its defective like the 2 I bought, you have only 30 days to get it fixed... oh and did I mention its 4-5x as much as another brand that WILL help you when their lure chips/breaks/cracks
