  1. A-jay I totally agree but I figure there would some atleast a pound and half fish in the water but all I have hooked into was 12 once fish. All them ranging around that area. I'll keep trying thanks

  4. Hello my fellow bass anglers! I recently moved to stafford and did some research on the local lakes around the area. I found two which are Curtis lake and lake Abel. I fished both and only hooked up on bass that didn't even weigh a pound! I mean these fish were dinks of all dinks lol!! I really like the lay out of both lakes. Lake Abel reminds me of a smaller version of fountain head and Curtis lake is small enough to cover the whole lake on the yak pretty well. I was throwing a black and blue flipping jig, June bug finess worm on a shakey head, and a black/gold jerk bait. I landed fish on all three baits. I've read reports that people have landed 3 to 5 pounders out of these lakes and lake Curtis supposedly holds bass up to 13 pounds. Either I'm doing something wrong or these lakes has a bunch of tiny bass. Any tips/recommendation would be much appreciated, thanks.
