The thing about it is the 150hp and 235hp are pretty much the same weight so don't think that's an issue. My problem is I don't wanna run down the lake at 80mph. I'd like to know where to start with prop size and pitch and max rpm on this motor.

It can be done especially if u find a project boat. I just bought a 1987 winner zz880 mach II 18ft With an evinrude 235 on it for $700. I know this may not be the best bass boat out there and probably pretty far down on the list but for $700 I couldn't pass it up. I know the lower unit is bad and needs alot of tlc and cosmetics done but if u can do the work yourself and don't care for a project this may be your best bet since u can modify some things to fit what you're looking for.

How the lake is set up the levisa river from Virginia feeds and forms the lake. But in winter pool there's no way to get close to where the river feeds the lake and most of the hollers that branch off to form coves are inaccessible as well

If it's not to big was wondering what size prop and pitch I need since it didn't have a prop on it. I checked on Iboats.com and it said the boat weighs 890 lbs but on nada.com it says 2200 lbs. Was wondering what the correct weight would be

I want to start crappie fishing and was wondering what are some good lures to catch then on and where to look. I live in Kentucky and I'm about 15 mins from one of the best lakes for crappie and want to get in on the action. also right now the lake I'd at winter pool and there's not much cover. how do I fish for them at winter pool and how fo I fish for them when it's not at winter pool
