The rod I have feels dead and I don't feel any sensitivity like i do with any other rod I have ever used. I need a good all purpose rod before i want to start expanding my arsenal.

The rod I am looking at is a 7ft med/hvy xfast action Powell Inferno

I have a 100 dollar gift card to tackle warehouse that i got for christmas, and i want to put it into some use. I want to buy a new rod. I have a 7ft med/hvy (casting) and a 6'10" med (spinning). I don't really like the 7ft med/hvy and I am hesitant on buying it again. Any suggestions?

Can anybody give me some suggestions on winter fishing?(baits/tips) thanks

I fish primarily ponds and was wondering other than my spinning rod, what other rod(s) should i add to my arsenal. I normally use soft plastics, jigs, chatterbaits and occasionally a topwater.

I want to fish in lakes mainly but i want one that can maneuver through rivers if it has to, i want to stay under 500 or around that price point.
