Note taken! Again, thank you Jig Man! Will a drop or two of colorant in say 4 oz. of plastisol give me a transparent hue to the plastisol, or would I have to bump up to 6 or even a full cup with one drop? I'd hate to waste the plastisol I just received to only realize you can't remelt it (which you probably can. I purchased the M-F Super Soft plastisol.) Again, thank you JM!

I looked at JNC, Lurecraft, even Do-it themselves and haven't found one that will work to my liking. JNC does have the best price at $3.79 a 2 oz. bottle. I might order some primaries and some secondaries from them and mix to my choice. Thank you Jig Man for your input!!!

Good morning/afternoon! I'd like to ask the DIY lure makers what they use for coloring their plastisol for worms, grubs, curl tails; You name it! As the title suggest, I am a BIG fan of Roboworms; one of the best worms I've ever used. Just recently I created my own drop shot worm mold for me to test on. So far I've been buying cheap bulk packs of single color worms, de-oiling and de-salting them, melting them down and use them in my molds, but I am very limited to color choices I can buy. So here is my second question: Does anyone know what colorant brand Roboworm uses for their worms, or what brand of colorant will give me a somewhat transparent color instead of a solid color? I am in no way wanting to replicate Roboworm's Straight Tail Worm. These worms are for my personal use only and to experiment a bit with colors and techniques. I have just recently picked up plastic lure making in the last year and have been dabbling at it ever sense. Thank you and Calm Seas, my friends.
