Seals

I've never caught a bass back there, the only ones I've even seen were dead floating on top of the water. I've heard people talking about blue cats being in that pond, but I couldn't ever get them to bite(I'm a crappy catfisherman anyway). I wonder how deep it actually gets? I know where the brush line is it's fairly shallow. I would've liked to have fished it before the levee broke. Edit: I did watch a couple of guys put a canoe in back there early last summer, didn't stick around to see how they did though.

Got my biggest bass yet last night on crankbait. 10.3lbs. Size 15 boot for comparison, only picture I got before my phone died.

I thought the same, which is kind of strange because no one has fished this pond besides me in ages, and he was the first one over 4lbs I've pulled out of there.

New guy here, been lurking for a while. I primarily fish at Halle, WC Johnson, or the Grove, as well as some very small ponds out in the county. Here's a couple of my better fish in the last year.
