Darren, I fish at beaverdamn regularly (3 minutes away from me) and honestly I've never had much luck! But the website says the action is going well right now, so I'll have to check it out while back, thanks! Never heard of Waller Mill, will check that out also Cho!
  2. Huh, would you recommend fishing the Chick river or Pamunkey instead? Me and my Dad tried fishing the Pamunkey once, but he nor I have ever fished a tidal river before, and we ended up not doing too hot.

  4. Hey guys. I recently started bass fishing probably about 6 months ago, mainly because I'm in college and don't have much to do besides study and hangout with friends. This place has answered so many questions for me, and will hopefully continue to do so. Since I'm relatively new to the scene, I have a lot . I'm from Gloucester VA, which is near Williamsburg and Newport News. The only places I have fished thus far are the Pamunkey river, Shenandoah river, and chick lake. Anyways, nice to meet you guys! Tight lines!
  5. Hey guys, just joined the forums and let me say this community is awesome! I'm back on a small break from college and planning to go fishing with my Dad at the Chick. Lake. Just wondering if anyone knows what pattern the fish are on right now. Are they still deep, back in creeks, etc? Would love some advice for fishing there, the past few times we have went we haven't caught much. Also, what lure should we throw? Usually I throw T-rig, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits, but since it is colder I figured I would want to present something very slow. Tight lines!
