In Need of a Boat
Sorry guys, one more question. Do these come with the motors already in the price or is that separate? For example, it just says "Maximum H.P.: 75 H.P." So are they saying "Here's the boat, we think you should buy this motor with it."?

Non-Boater Questions
Hey I completely agree with you guys. I would definitely not want to take over the trolling motor on a brand new bass boat that isn't even mine. And I'm a pretty easy going guy so I doubt I would even say anything to my partner telling him where to go. Wherever we are, I'm sure he'll be the more knowledable of the two of us, I think I'll just listen, watch, and learn. That suits me just fine.

Non-Boater Questions
Thanks a lot Shad. Lots of good stuff there! I had no idea that was how some clubs worked. I think that's great that they would let the non-boater call the shots for 1/2 the day. I don't know if this club would be like that or not, but it's a nice thing to know. And I hear ya on the sight fishing thing. I better get some polarized sunglasses if that happens. Thanks again!

Pond fish behaviour
Wow, phenomenal information guys, I can't thank you enough. I stumbled across this topic and had to stop on it because I also fish 90% of the time in ponds in my area. In one particular pond, my go to baits are a 5" Junebug Senko worm, chatterbait, and Rat-L-Trap's lipless crankbait bleedinh shad (medium sized). Who knows in other ponds, like you guys said. But I've been fishing this particular one for close to 2 years now so I feel like I have it figured out. But I totally agree that they hang out near the shorelines as I've caught 95% of them within 5 feet from the shore. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in there. But thanks for all the great advice guys!!!

Non-Boater Questions
Thanks for all the advice, I'm for sure going to go for it. You know, I figured I was looking a little too much into it. I'm a very respectful person and don't think I'll have any problems respecting others' belongings and property. Hell I can't wait to get back on a bass boat, nothin' beats it! Thanks again guys.

In Need of a Boat
Hry Guys, I want to be a first time boat owner for this coming season. I'm shooting for a new, not a used one and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Just to let you know, I do have boating experience. Anyways, I'm trying to stay under $12000 if possible. I've been doing some research and saw that aluminum boats seem to be the cheapest to go with. I've been looking at Trackers, G3s, Alumacrafts, and Fishers. Anyone have experience with any of these? Or does anyone have any better ideas for a new bass boat that won't be too hard on the pockets? Thanks for any advice!

Non-Boater Questions
Hey Guys, I'm thinking about joining a club up here in NE Ohio this coming season and had a couple questions. First of all, I don't own a boat so I'd have to enter as a non-boater. Does anyone have experience in tourneys as a non-boater? Is it worth it to join if I have to do this? Do most people seem to be accepting of this? For instance, they're going to pair me up with someone I don't know, which is fine with me, but will the boat owner usually be cool with that or is it like "God, here we go again."? I just don't want to get into something if it's not going to be a good investment for me. Thanks!

Rookie looking for fun club in Ohio
Good to hear you're wanting to join a club. I'm going to join one this coming season as well. I live in Cleveland and found a solid club. ********* Moderator Note *********** Send a PM if you like, but we do not allow "For Profit" clubs or tournaments to be promoted in this section or on the Forum. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator

The Best Lure of All Time
5" Junebug Senko. And while we're at it, hell, why not the trusty Chatterbait?
