I'll do as you suggested and once I get near the rod again, I'll be in touch. by the way, I'm in the KC area and my boat and equipment are at Lake of the Ozarks in MO. and thanks for the welcome, Bass-Brat

  3. Hi guys....I am not a rod builder and am a bit of newbie period. But I thought all of you with all of your expertise may be willing to lend some advice. I have a rod with a cork handle and the butt of the cork broke off. :-[ Can this be repaired and, if so, what do you recomment. I don't have a picture (which would obviously help tremendously) as the rod's in my bass boat 2 hours drive from here. It broke off something like a half an inch above the butt end of the rod blank. Appreciate any advice you can offer. Terry
