  1. Sorry about that, check the edit.
  2. Hello, I recently ordered a rod from a vendor through Amazon, and my rod tip came damaged!. Now I can only feel the tiniest amount of 'rod blank' missing, it seems like its mostly paint, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. I want to go fishing this weekend, so I really want to use the rod but I'm scared it will break due to its damage. (I'm also concerned about long term functionality, will the rod corrode quicker b/c of its imperfection?) is there a way i could repair it? Thanks -Eric EDIT: I should mention that I received the rod well below its price due to an error and I'm worried if I alert the company they might come after me for the rest of the money. So basically I'm asking if this nick is worth the extra $100?
