  1. Great stuff.. This is the best site I've found for info. good job.. I started using the C rig last year but I have been using A small bullet weight 1/4 oz or 1/2 oz and I use tubes most of the time. This works well for me when the bite is slow. I do go 3/4 or 1 oz in water over 15 ft.
  2. That would be my picks as well..
  3. That would be nice, I do have some kin folk down there. 8-) I have been doing some crappie fishing, the BASS bite is SLOW.. Thanks for the welcome everybody..
  4. I like to use a lizard without a weight and fish it slow. Also I like to use A tube that floats c-riged, I did this back in the spring and done well. Roy
  5. This is a pic of the old ones I have.
  6. Its a shallow running bait with a wide wobble. Roy
  7. I have 5 different colors of the old balsa wood version from the 70s, they are in rough shape need to be refinished and new hooks. Someone told me that they are collectable so I've been using the new version which I like also, the action is real close. The new ones has 2 eyes for changing depth and has a rattle.
  8. I would contact strike king, they might replace them. At times I can get the fish to hit these when they wont hit anything else in my box. Roy
  9. Just wondering if anybody uses these much anymore, I noticed they have changed them over the years. I have some from the late 70's that are made of wood. The new ones have 2 eyes that let you change the depth you fish with it and are made of plastic. These are on my alltime fav. list of lures, They have got great action. Great for spring time bassin. Roy
  10. Been lurking for a some time, lots of good info here. My name is Roy, I'm located on the WV. boarder in Eastern KY. Been having fishing withdraws with all this cold weather, I've even been playing That BPS Trophy BASS game to ease the pain. Great site Roy
