  1. Most lakes I fish in has stained water, so the colors that works best for me are June Bug, Chili Pepper, Tequila Shad, and Watermelon colors. For clear waters, I use Redberry and Blueberry colors. Good Luck!
  2. Culprit Tassel Tail worms. These worms caught me lots of fish Texas and Carolina Style, and while swimming the bait through suspended bass. Rigs and weights varies depending on conditions.
  3. Culprit Original worms have been my favorite bait for bass for years until their new Tassel Tails came out. The tassel tails have this wave-like action that looks so real compared to other plastic worms. I Texas-rig these worms, and if the bites are slow, I let it sit and let the tails do the work. I also swim the Tassel Tails like Papa does when they are more active. These baits are hard to find, and when you mentioned you found them on eBay, the baits and shipping are cheaper there than anywhere I've found so far. They are definitely worth buying! 8-)
