Hello, New to this forum and looking for a little insight on finding some new locations to shore fish in Northern Va. I do not have access to a boat so I know that limits some of my fishing locations . I usually fish Leesylvania State Park from the long pier but that place gets really crowded and I am tired of standing shoulder to shoulder with other people. I primarily go after catfish and while the lines are out fish for bass along the bank waiting for a bite on my main lines. I will be going to Germantown Lake this Saturday with my brother to try them out since they are not to far from where I live in Manassas and have heard some good things about both their bass and catfish their. Any advice on some new locations to try would be greatly appreciated.
