    Ditto the McCoy, but I like the green. Casts like a dream, great knot strenght, and much more tough than it looks. Also like the Izorline XXX. Big game is terrible, except maybe for flipping or trolling.

    I've been doing it for a long time and I love it. There's a big difference, depending on how much you are willing to spend, especially for pike (big pike). So, it all depends. Give me an idea of your budget and I'll be happy to make some recommendations.

    Like anything, depends where you are. The one here is 18", caught from a six acre suburban residential pond in outside of Chicago in October. I got a 14, 15 and 16 on the same day. Not typical!
