    Was out in central Minnesota north of Detroit lakes last weekend. 30 fish total in 4 hours. 29 of them were 2-3.75 pound fish. We bagged 1 at 5.5lbs. Females were far from being ready to lay, and none of them had feed bags on either. Was very odd. Any thoughts? This lake I was on has a max depth of 16'. I figured the bass would have been laying on beds already with its shallow warm bottom.
