T-rig tip
I started using the bobber stops last year. You have a couple of options. You can place the stop tight to the wieght and hook or you can slide it up the line and allow the weight to move. If you have a rod/reel combo that you only use for t-rig, you can leave the bobber stop on the line if you have to change hooks and or weights. They are very inexpensive and do not hurt the line.

Do Pro interviews help recreational fishermen
I think watching tourney shows are not for learning much. I find that there is very little teaching done on those shows. I remember growing up and watching BASS every week to find out who won. Now you can watch the weigh in over the internet. Personally, I enjoy shows that teach me something. Watching someone fish where you don't know the bait and you can't tell how there are working it doesn't benefit me. My current favorite shows, besides the ones mentioned, are the Bass Pros, Classic Patterns, Pro team Journal, Bass Pro Shops fishing and probably some that I forgot to mention. I don't mind a show promoting their lures as long as they give me the knowledge to use it correctly. Luckly, I can watch all these programs without missing a one with the invention of tivo. Man, I love me some tivo! Just my thoughts, for what they are worth.

Need Cedar Balls !!!!!!!
There are so many ways to go with this and none of them are good. So, I will just give an honest reply. Lowes, and I assume Home Depot, sell cedar to go in closets and blanket chests and things like that. I think that I have seen them in the "shape" you request. However, I am not sure on the size of the balls that lowes or home depot has. Good luck.

Melting Lead
Word of caution for you. DO NOT put wet lead into a hot melting pot of lead. It will explode and go everywhere. I know this from personal experience. This happened to us while making decoy weights. We were very lucky that serious injuries/burns did not happen. As it happened I jumped to the other side of a freezer (hot lead missed me by couple of inches and my buddy jumped behind a lawnmower. He got some bruises and scratches from the landing. Just be careful!!! I know someone who pours his own jigs. I am hoping he will show me some tricks!

If you could recommend 1 fishing book
I got "Secrets of a Champion" last fall and really enjoyed it. KVD did that book also. Quick funny story: I had it out the other night and my 4 year old said please read me a book. I said "sure, go get one." He came back with that book! I have never been so proud and my wife never so scared! It was great! And I did read a chapter to him.
